There are two airports that are close to San Sebastián: Biarritz and Bilbao. Low cost airlines such as easyJet and Ryanair fly to these destinations and buses run frequently from both airports to San Sebastián.

By Bus
There are regular international bus lines to and from Hamburg, London, Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris and Geneva among other cities. ALSA and Eurolines are two of the companies that run these lines.
Eurostar International is a bus company that travels from European cities to San Sebastián.
ALSA Spanish bus company that travels to/from San Sebastián and major European cities.
By Train
San Sebastián lies on the Paris-Madrid train line. The fast TGV train (5½ hours from Paris) stops at the French-Spanish border (at Hendaye/Irun), 19 km away. The timetable may change depending on the dates, but there are at least 10 trains a day. Check SNCF (French national rail service) for more info.
